HOW DO I USE THIS SERVICE?
It's very easy. Any time you want to organize an audio conference, simply call Basic Access Customer Service at 1-800-410-9920. The representative will first verify that you have a valid account with us, then he or she will assign you the unique host and guest access codes. Once these codes are assigned, the participants may simply call the Conference Line (1-800-410-9924) to join the conference.
WHAT DOES THE SERVICE COST?
We offer our conference calling services in 100 minute blocks for a low rate of $7.99 (plus tax). Additional fifty-minute blocks are available at the same low price.
ARE THERE ANY CONTRACTS TO SIGN?
There are no contracts or obligations. However, the base rate of $7.99 is a monthly recurring charge and unless service is cancelled you will continue to be billed.
ARE THERE ANY SIGN UP FEES OR CANCELLATION FEES?
You will not experience any hidden costs and may cancel service at any time.
WHEN CAN I BEGIN TO USE MY SERVICE?
When you sign up for our service you will receive a confirmation letter with your new account information and detailed set up instructions through the mail. You may begin saving on conference calls as soon as you receive this confirmation letter, usually within 5-7 days after enrolling.
CAN I HOLD TWO OR MORE CONFERENCES AT THE SAME TIME ON MY ACCOUNT?
Each account includes a teleconference room with one port for a host and fifteen ports for guests. Additional conference rooms require additional accounts.
DOES EACH CALLER NEED AN ACCESS CODE?
Conference access codes are provided in pairs. One code will be assigned to the organizer (host) of the conference. There can only be one host per conference. You will also receive another code that works for all fifteen guests.
HOW LONG ARE ACCESS CODES VALID?
For security reasons, each set of access codes are active for 8 hours after being issued. After 8 hours, you must call 1-800-410-9920 and reserve a new conference and obtain a new set of codes.
